Ticket Terms
of Service

The standards that keep Northstar support organized, confidential, and fair. Read these terms before opening a General, Internal Affairs, or High Command ticket.

Tickets are not emergency dispatch. For active in-game emergencies, use the appropriate dispatch or radio procedure. Misusing support tickets for emergencies may delay assistance.
01

Purpose and acceptance

By opening or participating in a Northstar Law Enforcement ticket, you agree to follow this policy and all applicable department and community rules.

Tickets exist to provide a clear record of support requests, personnel concerns, appeals, and command matters. Open one ticket for one issue, select the correct category, and provide enough accurate information for staff to assist you.

Ticket conduct

  1. Be respectful and professional. Harassment, threats, discrimination, insults, or hostility toward the opener, staff, or reported member are prohibited.
  2. Do not spam or repeatedly ping staff. Your ticket is visible to the authorized support team. Unnecessary messages may slow the review.
  3. Keep the matter inside the ticket. Do not create duplicate tickets, move the argument into public channels, or pressure staff through direct messages.
  4. Follow staff instructions. Support staff may claim, transfer, rename, add participants to, or request clarification within a ticket when needed.
  5. Do not impersonate another person. False identities, altered statements, or knowingly misleading claims may result in disciplinary action.
04

Evidence, honesty, and privacy

Submit original evidence

Provide full, unedited screenshots, recordings, message links, dates, and relevant context whenever possible. Do not fabricate, crop misleadingly, or tamper with evidence.

Tell the complete truth

Reports must be made in good faith. Deliberately false accusations, material omissions, or coordinated reports may be treated as policy violations.

Understand access

Tickets are private from the general public, not from authorized staff. Content may be reviewed by leadership, retained in transcripts, and used for legitimate department decisions.

05

Response and inactivity

Staff will respond as availability permits. Opening a ticket does not guarantee an immediate reply, a particular outcome, or that a requested action will be approved.

0 hours

Your ticket is created. Remain patient and provide the requested details.

6 hours

If the opener has not responded when information is required, the system may send an inactivity reminder.

12 hours

A ticket still inactive because of the opener may be closed with the reason Inactivity.

06

Closure and enforcement

Support staff may close a resolved, duplicate, abandoned, abusive, or improperly categorized ticket. A closing reason may be recorded, and a transcript may be retained in the ticket log.

Misuse can lead to removal from the ticket, loss of ticket privileges, ticket blacklisting, department discipline, or further moderation under Northstar rules. Requesting closure does not erase the ticket record. Infraction appeals are accepted only when the original case was marked Appealable: Yes.

07

Acknowledge the policy

By continuing to the Northstar ticket system, you confirm that you have read these terms, understand the category restrictions, and agree to cooperate with authorized support staff.
